Description
Postcard with a colored image of Haskell Institute on the front. Image takes up the top half of the card and depicts the campus from a distance. The names of four buildings are printed in red ink at the top of the image. From left to right: Chapel, Office, Supt'ds dwelling, Girls Dormitory. The bottom half of the border is white with "Lawrence Kan. Haskell Indian Institute 4356" printed in red ink. Between "Kan." and "Haskell", "1907" is written in pencil. On the back along the left side "Carl W. Mettner, Lawrence, Kan. Germany" is printed in red ink. A note is written to Miss Bertha Bell in Topeka, Kansas from Pearl Steuart in Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked September 16, 1907.
