Description
Postcard with a black and white photograph of the Bowersock Opera House after the fire on the front. Photograph is angled to focus on the corner of the building facing the street. On the first floor are Lawrence Journal signs on the front and side of the building. The roof and most of the street side of the building has been destroyed and the inside structure of the building can be seen. A large amount of rubble is at the side of the building. At the bottom of the photograph "Burning of Bowersock Opera House, 2-18-1911 #3 Photo by Lawrence" is printed in white ink. A white border is on the right side and at the bottom of the photograph.
