Postcard with a sepia photograph of Carl Friend on the front. Photograph is a head shot of Friend wearing glasses. There is a white border below the bottom of the photograph with "Carl E. Friend" typed in brown ink. On the back of the postcard is Friend's "Record" as a politician and that he is running for United States senator on the Republican ticket. Addressed to "World" in Wilson, Kansas. Postmarked July 18, 1944. Information on when the postcard was acquired is on the back, 10/19/2001.
