Postcard with a black and white photograph of the Lawrence Auto Club on the front. Photograph is looking south down Massachusetts Street and shows a line of cars parked along the right side of the street. At the bottom of the photograph "Lawrence Auto Club" / "Entertaining Haskell Quarter Cent Visitors" / "6/17th/09" is printed in white ink. At the bottom right side "Photo by Lawrence" is printed in white ink.On the back along the left side "Alfred Lawrence, Photographer, Lawrence, Kan." is printed sideways in black ink. A note is typed to Mrs. Tom Pollock in Kansas City, Kansas from Lawrence Kansas. Note states that the third car is Mr. Bullene's. Postmarked June 22, 1909. Note: Newspaper article states that the Lawrence Auto Club drove parents of Haskell Institute students around Lawrence.
