Postcard with a black and white photograph of the first streetcar in Lawrence on the front. Photograph shows two men standing in front of the streetcar on the tracks. Across the bottom "679 - First Electric Car, Lawrence, Kans." is written in white ink. On the back along the left side "Published by the North American Post Card Co. Kansas City, U.S.A" is typed sideways in black ink. On the back is information on when and from whom the postcard was acquired, Christie Bowers Wolfeboro, New Hampshire 2/15/1982. Came with an auction receipt.
