Library Board Minutes of the Lawrence Free Public Library for the Year 1958

Minutes for the regular and special board meetings at Lawrence Public Library for the year of 1958. Includes information about finances and book circulation. Studies for repairs in the building were made and the Library had problems financing all the necessary changes in the old building. The minutes included Le Roy Fox resignation letter and his reasons to leave. During this year Helen Osma was acting librarian.
Edward A. Howard was elected as new head librarian. An acceptance letter was added to the minutes.
