Description
Postcard with a black and white photograph of the Roosevelt Fountain on the front. Photograph shows the fountain in its original location at the intersection of 9th Street and New Hampshire. Photograph focuses on the side of the fountain with the plaque. The Proper Place House can be seen in the background on the left side. At the bottom of the photograph "946 Fountain, Lawrence, Kans." is written in white ink. The entire back is covered in a note from a mother to her children. No postmark or stamp. Information on when and where the postcard was acquired is on the back, Mason Auction 10/27/1985.
