Description
Silver ring with a front design of a small building with colonnades, surrounded by laurels and stars. The letters 'LMHS' appear on the roof of the building. The sides of the ring display the year 1931, along with a notched pattern. On the inside of the ring is a small engraved badge with the word 'Jostens' below. This ring may have belonged either to Ian Schenck's great grandmother, Lucy Schneck, or was given to her by his great grandfather, Gaylord Schneck, to wear. Gaylord Schneck was known around Lawrence as a prize cockfighter.
