Description

1983.222.114A photograph shows several heavily damaged buildings being reconstructed. Piles of bricks and other construction material can be seen on the sidewalk. On the extreme right, three or four workmen are doing something, possibly laying brick. A store window in an undamaged building at left states, "F.W. Sneegas, Second Hand." Inscribed on the back of the photo it states, "cyclone, 4/12/11" which seems to identify the scene as reconstruction after the 1911 tornado.
