Postcard with a black and white photograph of the Sigma Chi house on the front. Photograph focuses on the front and right side of the building. A white border is around the entire photograph. At the top of the postcard "This is Sigma Chi house across the street from us. Will send you a view of our new home." is written in black ink. On the back along the left side "Alfred Lawrence, Photographer, Lawrence, Kan." is printed sideways in black ink. A note is written on the back to Miss Lenore Pollen in Colorado Springs, Colorado from M.J.K. is Lawrence, Kansas. Dated January 27, 1910 and postmarked January 28, 1910. Information on when and where the postcard was acquired is on the back, 5/28/1999 from KCPS. Note: Sigma Chi is listed at 23 East Lee Street in the 1909 directory, Lee Street is now Thirteenth Street.
