Postcard with a black and white photograph of the hospital at Haskell Institute on the front. Photograph focuses on the front of the building and the surrounding lawn. At the bottom of the photograph "689 Hospital, Haskell Inst. Lawrence Kans" is printed in white ink. On the back along the left side "Published by the North American Post Card Co. Kansas City, U.S.A." is typed sideways in black ink. A note is written on the back to Lena Terrill in Burlington Kansas from Mrs. Root in Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked October 20, 1911. Information on when and from whom the postcard was acquired is on the back, 5/24/1998 from Carlson.
