Postcard with a black and white photograph of the iron foundry after the 1911 tornado on the front. Photograph shows a large amount of debris is in the foreground, the building in the background is missing a wall. A wooden building is leaning against another building. At the middle of the photograph "[W]reck of foundry Lawrence KS. 4/12/1911" is printed in white ink. At the right side "Tornado" is printed in white ink. Information on when and where the postcard was acquired is on the back, 6/14/1997 from Detlon.
