Postcard with a black and white photograph of the ice plant after the 1911 tornado on the front. Photograph depicts the damaged iceplant up close. Across the bottom of the photograph "Ice Plant - Lawrence Kans - Tornado 4/12/1911" is printed in white ink. At the bottom of the right side of the photograph is a signature. A white border is around the entire photograph. A note is written on the each border as a continuation of the note on the back. Note is written in German and addressed to Germany. Postmarked April 24, 1911.
