Postcard with a black and white photograph of a house after the 1911 tornado on the front. House is off its foundation and tilting down. Other houses in the background are also damaged. Across the bottom "Oscar Dahlene House Lawrence Kan 4/12-'11" is printed in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. A note is written on the back to Veda Hale in Elmira, Oregon from Eliot in Lawrence about how their residence was not damaged by the tornado. Dated May 19, 1911, postmarked May 20, 1911.
