Postcard with a black and white photograph of the Sullivan home after the 1911 tornado on the front. Photograph depicts a house on its side. A white border is around the entire photograph. On the left border "Residence of Mr. Sullivan, 600 Block, Illinois St. Lawrence, Kans. Mrs. S was taken from beneath the debris, and died in a few hours. One hour I believe" is written in black ink. On the back is information on the house, John Sullivan, Mason, 636 Illinois St. Information on where the postcard was acquired is on the back, Jackson Sale.
