Description
Postcard with a black and white illustrations of Lawrence attractions on the front. In the middle is the Old Windmill, on the left side at the top is Massachusetts Street, at the bottom is the Post Office. On the right side at the top is the Douglas County Courthouse, at the bottom is the Carnegie Public Library. Beneath the Old Windmill "Lawrence, Kan." is printed in red ink. On the back along the left side "Carl W. Mettner, Lawrence, Kans. Germany" is printed sideways in red ink. A note is written on the back to Miss Anna Johnson in Topeka, Kansas from Edith in Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked July 16, 1907.
