Postcard with a colored image of Deichman's Crossing on the front. Image depicts the cliff edges next to the Wakarusa River. At the top of the left side "Lawrence, Kans., Scene on Wakarusa River, Deichman's Crossing." is printed in red ink. "1911" is written under the red text in pencil. On the back along the right side, "No. 543 C.W. Mettner, Pub., Lawrence, Kans. (Made in Germany.)" is printed sideways in green ink. A note is written on the back to Mr. S. Smith in [Jerseyville], Illinois from a friend in Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked August 16, 1911.
