Postcard with a colored image of the Water Works pumping station on the front. Image depicts the station with the Kaw River in front of it. At the top of the left side "Lawrence, Kansas. Water Works" is printed in red ink. On the top of the right side, "1907" is written in pencil. On the back along the left side "7311 C.W. Mettner, Lawrence, Kansas (Made in Germany)." is printed sideways in green ink. A note is written on the back to Alfred Sarter in Leavenworth, Kansas from his mother in Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked November 25, 1907.
