Description

Postcard with a black and white photograph of the ice gorge on the Kaw River on the front. Photograph depicts the river covered in sheets of ice up close, the bridge can be seen in the background. At the bottom of the photograph "11 - Ice Gorge Lawrence Kan" is printed in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. A note is written on the back to Miss Emma Keister in La Crosse, Kansas from C.M. in Lawrence, Kansas. Note is about the large pieces of ice on the river. Postmarked 2/19/1910.
