Description
Postcard with a colored image of the chapel and gymnasium at Haskell College on the front. Image shows the front and right side of both buildings. Around the image is a white border. On the bottom border "Chapel and Gymnasium, Haskell College, Lawrence, Kans." is printed in black ink. Next to the text a black arrow is pointing up with "The new gym." written in black ink. On the back in the middle "C.T. American Art" is typed sideways in green ink. A note is written on the back to Mr. Lyle Wise in Fort Mills, Philippines from Lawrence, Kansas. The 2 at the beginning of the note appears to indicate that there were more postcards sent at the same time. Postmarked March 8, 1917.
