Description
Postcard with a black and white photograph of the Eldridge House on the front. Photograph focuses on the front and the side of the building facing the street. Building takes up a large portion of the street block and is three stories tall. On the right side of the building's front is an "Express Office" sign and a sign with "Union Pacific Ticket Office" painted on it. At the bottom of the left side of the photograph "1345. Eldridge House." is printed in white ink. On the bottom of the right side "Lawrence Kan." is printed in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. On the back along the left side "J. Bowers Photographic Co., London." is printed sideways in black ink. Information on where the postcard was acquired is on the back, Boyle. Note: This is now the Eldridge Hotel.
