At the top of the image "New Bowersock Theatre, Lawrence, Kans. - 23" is printed in black ink. The image is a photograph colored in by hand. A white border is around the entire image. On the back at the top of the left side is information on the construction of the new theatre. On the back along the left side "Pub. by S.H. Kress & Co." is typed sideways in green ink.
