Postcard with a black and white photograph of the Bowersock Opera House after the fire on the front. Photograph shows the ruins of the building with a small amount of smoke still coming off of it. At the bottom of the photograph is a black strip with "8987A Ruins of Bowersock Opera House, Lawrence, Kans." printed in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. On the back at the middle "Mfgd. by M.L. Zercher Book and Stationery Co., Topeka, Kansas" is printed sideways in black ink. On the back is information on when and where the postcard was acquired, 5/10/1994 from WM Trade.
