Postcard with a black and white photograph of the Kaw during the 1908 flood on the front. Photograph is looking north and features the bridge above the Kaw along with part of Bowersock Mills on the right side. A crowd of people are standing on the side of the road the leads to the bridge. At the bottom of the postcard is a black strip with "202 Looking North Over Dam, '08 Flood - Lawrence, KS Photo by Lawrence" is printed in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. Along the right side "George." is written sideways in pencil. A note is written on the back to Miss Gertrude (area of last name is damaged) in Denver, Colorado from George in Eudora, Kansas. Postmarked June 28, 1908 in Lawrence, Kansas.
