Postcard with a colored image of the Santa Fe Depot on the front. Image shows the depot in the background and a fountain in the foreground. Image is colored in by hand. At the top of the left side "Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Depot, Lawrence, Kans. - 3" is typed in black ink. A white border is around the entire image. On the back along the left side "Pub. by S.H. Kress & Co." is typed sideways in black ink. On the back is a note to Dr. & Mrs. J.B. Carter in New York, New York from one of their mothers in Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked October 10, 1921. Stamped as received on October 12, 1921. Information on when the postcard when and and from whom the postcard was acquired is on the back, D. Shaw 8/18/1972.
