Postcard with a black and white photograph of the Manual Training School on the front. Photograph shows the building's front and the side facing the street. At the bottom right side "School Manual Training, & Domestic Science, Lawrence, Kan. 19" is written in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. On the back along the left side ""Made for dealers everywhere." By Richie Bros., Centralia, Ill" is typed sideways in black ink. On the back is a note to Mamie Baird in Carbondale, Kansas from her mother in Cherryvale, Kansas. Postmarked October 29, 1909. Information on when and where the postcard was acquired is on the back, McPherson 8/24/1973.
