Carnegie Public Library. At the bottom right corner of the photograph No. 9991 is typed in black ink. There is a white border on the right side. A note is on the back to Erna Fischer in Pittsburg, Kansas from Margie in Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked August 11, 1908. On the back along the left side "Carl W. Mettner Lawrence, Kans. Printed in Germany" is printed in black ink.
