Postcard with a colored image of the Lawrence Public Library. Image is of the building at a side angle. The bricks, grass, and sky have been hand painted, the rest of the photograph is white. At the top of the image "Lawrence, Kan. Carnegie Public Library." is typed in red ink. The is a white border on the right side. At the bottom of the border "4354" is typed in red ink. On the back along the left side "Carl W. Mettner, Lawrence, Kan. Germany" is typed in red ink. Information on when the postcard was acquired is on the back, 10/22/1988.
