Postcard with a black and white photograph of Ufton Court on the front. Photograph focuses on the left side of the mansion that has the tower. A white border is around the entire photograph. At the bottom border "Ufton Court," L.H. Perkins. Residence Lawrence, Kansas." is printed in black ink. Next to Kansas, "10-6-'07" is written in black ink. On the right border "We are all well. Are having some very pleasant weather. E.C." is written in black ink. On the back a note is written to Mrs. Fred P. Shepard in Kansas City, Kansas, from Emma in Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked October 6, 1907. Note: Ufton Court was the home of Lucius H. Perkins and built in the spring of 1907. John G. Haskell was hired to create the design of the house. House is no longer in existence, but the location was listed at 1004 Elliott Street (Intersection of 4th and Maine Street).
