Barteldes, president and founder of Barteldes Seed Co., covered in snow. At the bottom of the photograph "9 Record Breaking Snow March 24 1912 Photo by Lawrence" is printed in white ink. Above "Lawrence" "721 Indiana" is written in blue ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. On the back is information on the house in the photograph written in red ink.
