Description

Postcard with a colored image of Bowersock Mills on the front. Image is of the plant and the Zephyr Flour building. Image is a photograph colored in by hand. At the top of the image "Bowersock Mills & Power Co., Lawrence, Kans. - 20" is typed in black ink. A white border is around the entire image. On the back at the top left side is information on the Bowersock Mill, notably that the original mill was destroyed by a flood in 1903. At the back in the middle "Made in U.S.A. by E.C. Kropp Co., Milwaukee" is typed sideways in blue ink. A note is written on the back to Mrs. S.M. Carmean in Kansas City, Missouri from her son Jim in Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked October 9, 1933.
