Description

Postcard with a colored image of moonlight on the Kaw on the front. Image shows the Kaw River with railroad tracks on the right side and a bridge in the background. Image is printed on the top half of the postcard. Below the image "Moonlight on the Kaw Lawrence, Kas" is printed in black ink. On the bottom half "Rowing by moonlight is pleasant, I own, But it isn't quite safe from rowing alone M.H.S." is written in black ink. Dated 1/19/1907. At the bottom of the left side "Hand-colored/" is printed in black ink. On the back is the address for Miss Emmy Savage at 1421 Connecticut Street, Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked January 21, 1907.
