At the top "1909" is written in pencil. On the right side is a white border. On the border "X is where I take Latin" is written in black ink. Next to Latin "1909" is written in a different black ink. On the back along the left side "Publ. by Webb-Freyschlog Merc. Co." is typed in black ink. A note is on the back to Miss Joe Doering in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas from G.L. in Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked March 8, 1909.
