A letter explaining the situation of a boy from Haskell institute who failed to return a book. According to city laws the boy needed to be charge but all the charges were dismissed. However, the letter suggested Haskell students should pay an extra fee when they checkout a book. There is no register of answer to this letter.
A thank you letter from the library to Sergeant Bowers for his service as custodian was included.
